What to Expect When You Arrive

Information on Bonaire Vacation Rentals

Most of our guests come from afar; some have been to Bonaire before, while others haven't. Some have previously booked a private home and others are used to a more hotel-like setup. Below is some helpful information, so you know what to expect when you arrive.

Checking In

Check-in time is 3 or 4 PM on your arrival date and check-out is 11 AM or Noon on your departure date, depending on the property. We cannot guarantee anything prior to that and ask that you please plan your day accordingly. If the property you are staying in is vacant prior to your arrival and after your departure, early check in times and late check outs are possible.

Since our Bonaire vacation rentals are privately owned accommodations without reception offices, there are no possibilities to store luggage at the property prior to check in or after check out. Our maintenance staff may have to complete some repairs or routine maintenance, the pool and/or hot tub will need to be serviced (if an amenity at the home) and the home must be cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival. Please do not go to the home before check-in time. If you have any questions or need more information, don't hesitate to contact us.

Checking Out

We will take care of your departure cleaning. We do, however, appreciate it if you gather waste from food/drinks and not use towels for cleaning things like coffee, mud, blood etc. Please return all keys to the mailbox of our office, which you can find in the Kaya Grandi Shopping street.

Home Furnishings

All of our homes are individually owned. Therefore, the furnishings and equipment vary according to the tastes of the owner, but each home is equipped as advertised for a comfortable stay.

Prior to your arrival, the housekeepers have emptied and cleaned the refrigerator. Quite often it is open for a while during this process, and then you stock the refrigerator with warm food. It is of the utmost importance to keep the refrigerator and freezer on medium settings. Moving the dials to maximum settings will cause the unit to freeze up and not cool at all. It will take 12 hours for the refrigerator to cool completely after you check in.
